As hands are used for communication in Krump, when watching somebody dance, people are automatically drawn to what the hands are doing. This claw hand, being placed above the head, shows that the dancer is bringing the energy up, which is the goal for the dancer during the round. Depending on where they choose to take it and if they are successful, those watching will feel her energy and be brought up with her.
