While not part of the three main hand gestures, this claw hand-like motion is becoming increasingly popular in Krump movement. They are used to bring out what krumpers call 'material' during their rounds. Animal-like motions of ripping and tearing adds a different dynamic and new way for a krumper to express themselves. Often this gesture is used as a part of a character or used to intensify a certain motion.
